In a concert with a unique interactive twist, enjoy pop songs to classical gems, ethnic themes and original compositions in a setting like no other, nestled in the Hollywood hills.
Only at the Ford Amphitheatre will you be surrounded by almost a hundred voices under the stars. Featuring top-notch choirs led by alumni of the Philippine Madrigal Singers: the popular Harana Men’s Chorus, the rising Inspirare Vocal Ensemble, prominent pop vocalists Annie Nepomuceno and Erwin Andaya, gospel mega-tenor Edward Granadosin, and many more. Music by composer-arrangers Ed Nepomuceno and Nilo Alcala are part of the eclectic repertoire. Conductors Melvir Ausente, April Sunddie Manalo and Sheen Sanchez lead the singing, plus several guest groups combine to make up our Big Choir! Part of the proceeds shall go to the medical needs of the Philippine Madrigal Singers founder, Philippine National Artist Andrea O. Veneracion. The event also benefits several select community groups. The concert is produced by Music Arts Events in cooperation with Philippine Patrons of the Arts, and is part of the global Golden Anniversary Celebration of the world famous Philippine Madrigal Singers.
